1920 ~ 2012

With sadness the family of Albert George Schultz announces his passing on Sunday, July 22, 2012.  Though we grieve his loss, we are grateful for the life he shared with us and relieved that his pain and suffering is now over.

He was born January 22, 1920 in Winnipeg, MB.  He is survived by his children Rick (Lois), John (Faye), George (Adelene) and Dinah (Paul), grandchildren Lisa (Roger), Karla (Bastian), Triena, Calvin, Chandra (Greg), Teri (Scott), Glenda (Kevin), Kaitlen and Gordon, great grandchildren Samuel, Alyvia, Carter, Isabella and Ethan, sister Lillian and many nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his loving wife Evelyn, sons Randon Duane and Norman Glen, and grandson Norman Edward.

Albert’s life was full.  He served in the Air Force during WWII spending time overseas making and maintaining life-long friendships.  With his partner in life, wife Evelyn by his side, he farmed full time and raised 6 children.  He retired after 20 years with Correctional Services.

The family would like to thank the staff of I.E.R.H.A., Whitemouth Personal Care Home and Beausejour Hospital for the care and support provided to our father and family.

A Memorial Service was held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 27 at Sobering Funeral Chapel, 1035 Park Avenue E., Beausejour with Pastor Don Reimer presiding.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Albert’s memory may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church, Box 73, River Hills, MB R0E 1T0 or a charity of choice.
