Allan Novakoski

June 7, 1947 — November 25, 2024

It is with broken hearts we announce the unexpected and sudden passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, Allan Novakoski, who passed at the Selkirk Hospital in the early morning of November 25, 2024, at the age of 77 with his family by his side.

Allan is predeceased by his parents William and Stella Novakoski, as well as his nephew Douglas Novakoski, and his best friend Andy Dolenuk.

Allan will be lovingly remembered by his wife Victoria; son Jeffery (Kerry); daughter Carrie (Arthur); son Ryan (Susan); grandchildren, Melissa (Shayne), Brayden (Kaitlyn), Kayla (Caleb), Hailey (Dylan) and Taylor (Pascal); and great grandchild Dawson. He is also survived by his brothers Rudolph (Myrtle) and Ronald (Anne), as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Allan grew up on the family farm north of Tyndall. He obtained his fifth class power engineering certificate and worked for Agassiz/Sunrise School Division for 35 years. Allan enjoyed camping, road trips with family, and many bus tours. He enjoyed his trips to Las Vegas and Kansas for Nascar races. Allan had a passion for vehicles knowing every year make and model. He passed this passion on to his sons and grandson. His family meant everything to him and loved having numerous family gatherings.

Many thanks to Pinawa CancerCare, Wanda, Wynter, Emma, and Dr. Bruneau.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba.

As per Allan’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no formal funeral service.
