Almer Dreffs

On April 8, 2024, Almer Dreffs passed away at his home at the age of 87.  Almer was a lifelong resident of the Beausejour area and owned and operated Beausejour Sand and Gravel for decades before his retirement.

Almer was predeceased by his wife Jacqueline; his brothers Harold, Alex and Ernie; his sister Irene Wofford.  He is survived by his nieces Dale Dreffs, Leanne Bayne (Jeff Bayne), Elaine Feniuk (Ralph Feniuk); his nephew Kenneth (Maureen Wickstrom); his sister-in-law Alice Dreffs.  He is also survived by Jacqueline’s nephew and his wife, Rick and Patti Alexander, who provided much support in recent years.

Cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held at this time..

Almer had a soft heart for animals, particularly the many stray cats who were lucky enough to find their way to his property.  If desired, donations in Almer’s memory may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society.
