Alojz "Louis" Levstek

We are heartbroken to announce the passing of Alojz (Louis) Levstek on April 11, 2025.

He will be forever missed by his daughter Dawn, granddaughters, Miranda (Nick), Morgan (William) and Dallas (Tyler), along with his great-grandchildren, Elaina, Tanner and Madi. As well as his sister, brother, family members in Europe, extended family and longtime friend Charlie. Louis was predeceased by his loving wife Winnie and daughter Sylvia.

Louis was born in Slovenia, Europe and immigrated to Canada as a young man. Working in the Bissett mine is where he met the love of his life Winnie. They planted their roots in Lac du Bonnet where they raised their family. Louis was a family man through and through. He took so much pride in his daughters, granddaughters, and his great-grandchildren.

We hold close many cherished memories of family vacations, birthday celebrations and Sunday dinners.

Special thanks to Dr Pappetti, Dr Bruneau and Pinawa Hospital staff for all their care.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at 11:00 am at Sobering Funeral Chapel, 1035 Park Avenue, Beausejour, MB.
