August 1, 1914 to November 11, 2010

Angela Urbanski of Beausejour passed away peacefully on November 11, 2010 at the age of 96 years at the East Gate Lodge Personal Care Home, ready to go home to Jesus.
Angela was born on August 1, 1914 and lived all of her life in the Beausejour and Tyndall areas. She was a kind, gentle, and caring person who loved her family dearly. Seeing her grandchildren and great grandchildren always brought a twinkle to her eyes and a smile to her face. Mom was happiest when she was in her kitchen preparing homemade soup, bread, and other dishes to feed her family and friends, working in her garden, or knitting and sewing. She was a woman who was steadfast in her religious faith and in her ethics of working hard.

She is survived by her children: Ed (Marge) Urbanski, Jeane Carson, Andy (Kathy) Urban and Lynda (Ken) Antao; 11 grandchildren: Linda (Gary) Urban, Jerry Urban, and Cheryl (Paul) Urbanski, Liam and Chris Carson, Pamela (Rick) Thrift, Charlene (Mel) Urbanski, Greg (Thelma) Urbanski, Brad Urbanski, Lisa (Darryl ) Walsh and Janice (Clint) Urbanski; 11 great grandchildren: Corey Urban, Nichelle Carson, Christopher, Amanda, and Karina Thrift, Jessica, Melanie and Diana Botelho-Urbanski, Lawrence Urbanski, Lucas and Emily Walsh; sister Adeline (Peter) Cyncora, brother Casmir (Adele) Bialek, Tom (Helen) Bialek, brother-in-law John Winnicki, also many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband Anton, son and daughter-in-law Lawrence and Jeanne Urbanski, son-in-law William Carson, parents Albert and Julia Bialek, sisters Mary (William) Komadowski, John (Nellie) Bialek, Cecilia Winnicki, Jean (John )Walker, Stanley (Bertha) Bialek and Joe (Ollie) Bailey.

Prayer service will be held on Monday, November 15 at 7:00 p.m. at the St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, Atlantic Avenue & 3rd Street, Beausejour. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 16 at 10:00 a.m., also at the St. Mary Roman Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Owen Steeves presiding. Interment will follow at the parish cemetery.

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Nick Van Rensberg and staff at the Beausejour Hospital and all of the staff of East Gate Lodge Personal Care Home, especially those on the Rose Unit for the exceptional care, love and kindness they gave to our Mom. You are the best!
