Annie Wall passed away October 9, 2013 in Beausejour, at the age of 75.
Annie will be lovingly remembered by her husband George; children: Evelyn (John) Nolt, Janet (Martin) Nolt, and Don (Charlotte) Wall; grandchildren: Kevin (Carla) Nolt, Karen (Grant) Burr, Colleen (Kevin) Lariviere, Raymond (Hillary) Nolt, Angela (Carman) Cosens, Daniel Nolt, Melissa Wall (Glen Guimond), and Eric Wall: great grandchildren: Damian, Caleb, Liam, Owen, Isaac, Glen, and Cassandra; 2 sisters: Mary Wiebe and Helen dePaiva; 1 brother Henry (Noel) Kehler; brother-in-law Dave (Betty) Wall, and many other relatives and friends.
Annie was born on June 22, 1938 in Winkler, MB. She was one of eight sisters and six brothers born to Jacob and Margaret Kehler.
On a sunny Sunday afternoon, Annie and her sister Susie were walking down the country road close to their home when George and his friend were driving by and stopped to chat, and the rest is history.
George and Annie were married on April 20, 1958 in Winkler, MB. Shortly after, George and Annie were baptized together at River East Mennonite Brethern Church in Winnipeg. During their 55 years together, they had two daughters and one son. Annie was kept busy as a homemaker, loving and caring for her husband and children. As time went on she extended her caring and loving spirit to her eight grandchildren and six great grandsons and one great granddaughter.
Family was the joy in life for Annie. There was always a smile on her face, and hugs and kisses for everyone. Annie was a genuine woman. She always had time for anyone who needed to talk, or needed help.
Even though are hearts are heavy with sadness today, beautiful memories will bring smiles and comfort tomorrow.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, October 16 at 11:00 a.m. at Elim Baptist Church, Beausejour with interment to follow in Beausejour Cemetery. Viewing will take place one hour prior.
