Armande grew up on a farm in Mud Falls. She worked in Pine Falls which is where she met her beloved husband, Ken, at Manitou Lodge. Their love blossomed, and they were united in marriage on September 8, 1951. Throughout their marriage, Armande and Ken moved frequently, but ultimately settled in Lac du Bonnet, where they raised their family. Armande enjoyed gardening and had a particular fondness for flowers, especially peonies. She was a natural jokester, and loved to laugh and often teased her loved ones.
Armande’s devotion to her family was evident in every aspect of her life. She cooked and baked with passion and it was the family dinners that were a highlight in her home, bringing everyone together in celebration and love. Her love and nurturing spirit extended to her cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories that will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be missed but fondly remembered for her joyous spirit and the warmth she brought into the lives of her family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to the Lac du Bonnet Personal Care Home, PO Box 1030, Lac du Bonnet, MB R0E 1A0.
