Carol Dianne Irvine (Nee Hattie)

With sadness, we announce the sudden passing of Mom after losing her battle with Dementia on Sunday, April 27, 2025 at the age of 85.

Carol is survived by her only daughter Tracy Wassing (Rick) of Manitoba. She was predeceased by her husband Paul, father Clarence, mother Jessie and two brothers Glenn and Chris.

She grew up in Goldenville, Nova Scotia. Carol was an active member of the Dartmouth Seniors Choir and loved to sing. Over the years, together Mom and Dad enjoyed flea markets and travelling to many blue grass events. She moved to Manitoba in 2014 and enjoyed helping at Rick and Tracy’s hobby farm looking after chickens, turkeys and the garden.

Thank you to the staff at Vista Park Lodge in Winnipeg where Mom lived since 2021. Donations can be made in memory of Carol to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada.
