It is with profound sadness that the beloved wife of Clarence Bush, Valdine, announces his sudden passing on Sunday, September 22, 2024, at age 80.
Clarence was predeceased by parents Clarence and Eleanor; sister Laurie, and many close friends and extended family members. He is survived by his brother David (Linda); nephew Cory (Jayme) and their children.
Clarence was a robust, hard working, kind, caring and generous man, who for many years held two jobs while working for Gulf Canada delivering fuel to customers in Eastman Region. He worked diligently building and maintaining the family golf course along the Brokenhead River, taking on full time management of the business after his father’s passing. Clarence tirelessly supported the business, working long hours to ensure patrons enjoyed the course and hospitality at the clubhouse.
Clarence enjoyed time spent with friends, curling, hunting and golfing. He was grateful of the help he received from his dear friends, Ross Martin, Jim Ticknor and Chris Tomasson, they were always there for him. What he most cherished was spending quality time relaxing with his devoted wife. Together they found time over the years to travel to Mexico, the U.S.A and Jamaica, creating a lifetime of memories.
Clarence was always happiest chatting with friends and family, travelling to Arborg, Riverton and Winnipeg to see relatives.
A heartfelt thanks to the caregivers who treated him with the respect and dignity he so deserved while he struggled with health issues. Thank you to his friends who visited and supported him, he loved you all.
A private memorial service will be held for Clarence.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare or Beausejour Hospital TV Fund.
