Craig Alan Rosentreter

July 1, 1965 — September 28, 2024

Craig Rosentreter passed away peacefully on September 28, 2024 at the Grace Hospital in Winnipeg, Manitoba after a long battle with illness. He was 59. Craig is predeceased by his father John Rosentreter. Craig is survived by his two sons Aiden and Alex Rosentreter, mother Joanne Rosentreter, sister Audra Rosentreter, brother Dean Rosentreter, sister Tania Eggers (Daniel), sister Marcy Moreira (Mario), nieces Kaytlynn Rosentreter, Vianna Moreira and nephew Vallen Moreira.

Craig was born on July 1, 1965, in the city of Selkirk, Manitoba. Craig grew up on the family farm approximately 4 and a half miles southwest of Beausejour, Manitoba. Craig eventually got his class 1 license and drove across Canada and the U.S for many years.

Craig really loved to talk, no matter where he would go, he always found someone to strike up a conversation with. Craig enjoyed watching movies, playing video games, fishing and cars.

Aiden and Alex were Craig’s pride and joy, he spent as much time as he could with his boys. Craig liked to brag about Aiden and Alex to everyone.

Craig will be greatly missed, and his memory cherished by family and friends.

 Rest easy Craig.

The family would like to thank the Grace Hospital and staff of the ICU and ward for the excellent care they gave Craig during his last moments here with us. The family will be holding a come and go celebration sometime next summer. In lieu of flowers please donate to a charity of your choice.
