It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Curtis Ryan Arthur Laliberte. Curtis was born on August 17th, 1969 and passed away at the age of 55 on November 6th, 2024.
Curtis will be deeply missed by his wife, Nicole, of 13 years; son, Nikolas Laliberte, step-son, Brant (Nickkie) Moore, and daughter, Sari (Marcus) Risbey; grandson, the light of his life, Harrison Risbey; mother, Diane Carriere; in-laws, Archie and Paulette Catellier; sister, Tammy (Jason) Forwood, nephews, Wyatt, Darby (Melanie), and Riley (Emma); half-brother, Christopher (Michelle) Gauvin, and nephew, Axtyn; half-brother, Geoffrey (Robyn) Gauvin, nephew, Mason, and nieces, Blakely and Brooklyn; and numerous aunties, uncles, cousins and friends as well as his furbabies, Presley, Velvet and Gypsy.
Curtis was predeceased by his father, Andy Laliberte, brother, Joey Laliberte, and grandparents, Joseph and Virginia Laliberte, Ephrem and Irma Carriere, Granny D and Grandma Catellier.
Curtis was a devoted son, husband, father, papa, brother, uncle and god-father. He took great pride in his family and his friendships.
Curtis's loving heart, amazing smile and infectious laugh will be deeply missed.
Curtis was a hard-working and dedicated employee. He was employed at Harvest Manitoba as a Senior Warehouse Manager. Curtis was passionate about his work and the relationships he built throughout his career. His job at Harvest Manitoba was a perfect fit for Curtis as, if you knew him, you know he was always willing to lend a helping hand to everyone he knew, and the people in need that he served through his work.
Curtis had tremendous pride in his heritage and was a proud member of the Metis Nation. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping, boating and fishing, but hunting was his passion. He loved going out to the Whiteshell, and Pinawa was his happy place.
Forever in our hearts, gone but never forgotten 🤍 We are truly blessed to have had you in our lives. Although you have left us too soon, you also left us with a lifetime of memories to cherish.
We will always love you Curtis.
