Donna Lee Kruchak

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Donna Lee Kruchak, age 65, on March 2, 2025, at the Beausejour Health Centre. Donna Lee passed away peacefully, after a brave battle with cancer.

Donna Lee was born on October 12, 1959, in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She was a loving sister, aunt, and friend, who touched the lives of everyone she met with her warmth, kindness, and unwavering strength. Donna Lee had a deep love for her family and cherished the time spent with them. Her compassionate nature and generous spirit will be missed by all who knew her.

She was known for her boundless generosity, infectious laugh, and adventurous spirit. Donna Lee’s passion for life led her to explore many corners of the world, and she was proud of the many places she had visited throughout her travels. From bustling cities to quiet retreats, she treasured the rich experiences and memories that travel brought her.

One of Donna Lee’s greatest joys was spending time at her beloved cabin, a place where she found peace and contentment for many years. The cabin was her sanctuary, a place where she could connect with nature, enjoy the simple pleasures of life, and create lasting memories with family and friends. She found great joy in hosting loved ones there, and her warmth and hospitality made every gathering special.

A private family service will be held at a later date. Donna Lee's family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her memory to the Arthritis Society of Canada.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff at the Beausejour Health Centre for their care and compassion during Donna Lee’s final days.

Donna Lee's memory will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her kindness, laughter, and adventurous soul will never be forgotten.
