Edith Lepard (Nee Harden)

March 28, 1915 — March 28, 2015

1915 ~ 2015

With heavy hearts, the family of Edith Lepard announce her peaceful passing on Wednesday, April 1, 2015, at the LDB Personal Care Home at Lac Du Bonnet, Manitoba.

Edith was in her 100th year and had resided at the personal care home for the past seven years, since the 2007 passing of her husband George, after 67 years of marriage.

Edith was predeceased by her sister Agnes Wald (nee Harden), also in 2007.  Surviving are her daughters Carol Scott (Ray) and Linda Bilkoski (Dave), who reside at Cobble Hill, British Columbia; Grandchildren: Bradley Scott (Tammy), Rodney Scott (Bridgett), Coral Bilkoski (Mike), and Calin Bilkoski (Andrea); Great Grandchildren: Kenneth, Connor, Alex, Natalie, Kody, Branson, Kingston, Grayson

The family would like to thank all the “girls” at the Lac Du Bonnet Care Home for their care and friendship to Edith.  To her good friend Bea Holm who was her special dinner partner, a big thank you, and a thank you to her young friend Jocelyn, who sat with Mom during her final hours.  Thank you to Dr Papetti and Dr Van Gend for their excellent care.

Edith’s wish was that there be no funeral service.  Edith and George’s ashes will be placed in their crypt at the Brandon cemetery, in the fall.  Together again !!!!!

The family request no flowers.  Those wishing to donate could send a donation to the:  Lac Du Bonnet Personal Home, PO Box 1030, Lac Du Bonnet, Manitoba, R0E 1A0.
