Eleanor Dorothy Stefaniuk

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden and unexpected death of Eleanor Stefaniuk, on August 21, 2024.

Eleanor was born September 14, 1947, in Winnipeg to the late Alex and Dorothy Bullman and grew up the eldest of three on the family farm in Lydiatt, MB.

Eleanor was predeceased by her first husband Larry Frank; their baby boy; brother David Bullman; stepson Curtis Stefaniuk and dear sister-in-law Glenice Frank.

She is survived by husband Eugene Stefaniuk; daughter Lorene (Mike); brother Ray Bullman; Stepdaughter Coleen (Terry); sisters-in-law Linda Bullman and Shirley Frank and daughter-in-law Elaine (Ron); as well as numerous cousins, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren and all her wonderful friends.

Eleanor’s beaming smile and bubbling personality will be missed by all who knew and loved her. No longer will the sounds of Eleanor’s laughter echo through the town of Beausejour or the depths of her love dwell in the hearts of all she touched but her love and willingness to help anyone will live in our hearts forever.

Mom was always eager to have a chat, pour a cup of coffee or give a quick haircut when anybody asked.

Mom is truly proof that angels walk among us.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 28, 2024 at 11:00 at Sobering Funeral Chapel in Beausejour followed by a lunch at the Brokenhead Room at the Beausejour hall.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to an animal charity of your choice in Eleanor’s memory.
