June 28, 1915 to January 13, 2011
Frieda Bendoreiter went home to her eternal reward on Thursday, January 13, 2011 at the Whitemouth Personal Care Home. She was 94 years old.
Mom leaves to mourn her children: Esther (Brian) Keeley, Elsie (Lyle) Harkness, Evelyn Balness and Bob (Debbie) Bendoreiter, her sisters Wanda Klepatz and Lilly Hval. Mom left nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren to cherish her memories. She was predeceased by her husband Robert Bendoreiter, sister Lena Alstadt, brother Harry Schultz and son in-law Gerald Balness.
Mom was born on June 28, 1916 in the River Hills area. She spent her entire 94 years in the same area, farming and raising her children with her husband Robert (Bob).
Mom was a proud lifetime member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and regularly attended services until her health wouldn’t allow her to do so.
Mom loved to grow things. She used to plant enough vegetables to feed her entire family and more than a few friends. Her flowers were a great source of pride as many visitors remarked that her yard looked like a park. Our Mom was an excellent cook. Many folks remarked that you never left Frieda’s place without a full belly, a warm heart and trunk full of veggies. Mom was a kind, giving person who would do whatever she could to help someone out. She will be missed by everyone!
Special thanks to Mom’s other family at Whitemouth Personal Care Home. God bless you all!
Funeral Service will take place on Monday, January 17 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church, River Hills, MB with Pastor Jack Frederick officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may view at the church prior to the service.
