Glenn Campbell

August 10, 1934 — October 6, 2016

August 10, 1934 – October 6, 2016

With sadness we announce the sudden passing of Glenn Campbell, with his good friend Marg by his side at the Pinawa Hospital.

Glenn was raised in Winnipeg, moving to Saskatoon where he lived for 30 years.  He moved to Pinawa in 1999 where he made many good friends at “the coffee group”, “the birding flock” and the golf course which he loved; playing with good friends Doug, Carl and Jim.  Oh what fun they had! While at “the coffee group”, Glenn met his best friend Marg Haugen and they enjoyed birding and travelling to Texas during the winter.

Glenn is survived by Marg; his sister Joy Knudson (John); niece Kerri McCurdy (Boyd) and children Tess and Bryn; nephew Cam Knudson (Jihyun) and children Patrick, Brendan and Erica; and nephew Curtis Knudson (Yoko) and children Elle and Jay.

Glenn was predeceased by his parents Dorothy and Charlie Campbell.

Interment at Pinawa Cemetery on Friday, October 14 at 1:00 p.m., followed by a “Celebration of Life” from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at the Pinawa Golf Course.

In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to a charity of your choice.

A special thanks to the staff of Ironwood Supportive Housing and the Pinawa Hospital.
