Harry Briese

The family announces the passing of their beloved Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather, Brother, and Uncle, Harry Briese on Thursday, December 8, 2016 at the age of 90.

Harry was predeceased by his wife of 66 years Velma (nee  Kaletzke) in July 2016, his parents Emil and Gusta, his brother Emil, and sisters Lena and Elsie.

Harry leaves to mourn his passing his children Allan (Carol), Janet (Dave), Tannis (Nelson) and Noreen (Ken), his grandchildren Wendy (Brent), Ryan, Kristy (Patrick), Lacey (Glenn), Brodie, Amanda, Derek (Carissa) and Katelyn, his great grandchildren Brennan, Emma, Jonah, Isaiah and Eva.  He will be remembered also by his siblings Hazel and Roy (Eleanor), sister-in-law Edith and brother-in-law Herman (Rose) as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family would like to thank all the staff at East Gate Lodge, Shamrock Unit for their care and compassion.

Flowers are gratefully declined and a donation may be made in Harry’s name to East Gate Lodge, Recreation Dept.

Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, December 14 at 11:00 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, 403 First St. N., Beausejour with interment to follow in the Beausejour Town Cemetery.
