Joan Holmes (Nee Miller) (Nee Ketcheson)

September 15, 1931 ~ April 11, 2023

It is with broken hearts we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and aunt, Joan Holmes, who passed away peacefully at East Gate Lodge at the age of 91.

She is predeceased by her parents Edith and George Miller.  She is also predeceased by her first husband, Russ Ketcheson in 1976 and by her second husband, Wilmer Holmes in 1981 as well as her siblings Ernie, Bill, Stella, Phyllis, Elvin, Lorne and Marge.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children Ward (Yasuko) of Japan and Lynn (Bruce) of Armstrong, BC.  She is also survived by her grandchildren Clare and Sarah, as well as many nieces, nephews, friends and cousins.

Many thanks to the staff at East Gate Lodge (Rose Unit) for all the care and compassion they showed to our mom.

As per Joan’s request cremation has taken place.
