Laura Lavoie

May 11, 1917 – October 13, 2010

Peacefully, during her sleep on Wednesday, October 13, 2010, our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Laura Lavoie passed away at the Lac du Bonnet Personal Care Home at the age of 93.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children Roger (Mae), Alfred, Eileen Sikora, Raymond (Ellen), Alice (Lawrence) Trombo, 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Edward, daughter in-law Helen Lavoie, son in-law Lawrence Sikora and 2 grandsons.

Prayers will be said on Friday, October 15, at 7:30 p.m. at the Notre Dame du Lac Roman Catholic Church, Lac du Bonnet with Rev. Fr. Jose Montepeque presiding. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday, October 16 at 11:00 a.m. also at the church. Friends may view at prayers on Friday and prior to the service on Saturday. Private interment will take place at a later date. Pallbearers will be Lawrence Lavoie, Neil Lavoie, Grant Sikora, Darlene Palamar, Kevin Trombo and Brett Trombo. Honourary Pallbearer will be Lawrence Trombo.
