Lawrence Pichor

December 6, 1952 ~ February 4, 2017

After a long and courageous battle with cancer, Lawrence passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family.

Lawrence was born December 6, 1952 in Pine Falls, MB to parents Stanley and Kathleen Pichor.  He married Edna Cyr on August 5, 1972 in their hometown of Powerview-Pine Falls and were happily married for 44 years.  Lawrence had along career of 35 years working at the local paper mill as a Millwright.

He will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his wife Edna, son Nathaniel (Trystyn), sisters Margaret (Peter) Butler, Ella Boulet, Donna Boisjoli and brothers Ben (Jan) and Peter.  Sadly, he was predeceased by his parents, and numerous brothers and sisters.

Special thanks to Cancer Care, Selkirk, Gimli and Pine Falls Hospitals for their very special care.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, February 13 at 1:00 p.m. at Notre Dame du Laus Parish in Powerview, MB.  Internment at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Notre Dame du Laus Building Fund.
