Lorelei Mae Mann

It is with great sadness and broken hearts our family announces the passing of our beautiful Lorelei Mae Mann.

On November 1,2021, surrounded by her loved ones, Lorelei received her eternal wings and was called upon to become our guardian angel.

Lorelei was welcomed into this world on September 17,1960 in the small town of Kipling Saskatchewan. Throughout her childhood, Lor and her family lived in rural Saskatchewan communities Kennedy, Bienfait and Oxbow. In 1972 the Mann family relocated to Stonewall, Manitoba and in 1973 moved to Beausejour, Manitoba where they built their forever home.

Lorelei completed her education at Edward Schreyer School in Beausejour. Lor then enjoyed working for her community delivering meals to those in need through a program known as “Meals on Wheels”.

Throughout Lorelei’s adulthood she attended and was supported through the Association for Community Living – Beausejour, where she built many relationships along the way.

Lorelei is survived by her beloved mom and dad, Don and Lois Mann; brothers and sisters, Cynthia (Doug) Puttaert, Syd (Sharon) Mann, Kevin (Shauna) Mann, Monica (Bruce) Wilgosh; her many nieces and nephews, Kayla (Brent) Farias, Sherelle (Barret) Frith, Dylan Wilgosh (Carlynn), Brett Puttaert, Brittney (Stephan) Mendela, Emily, Spencer and Hayley Mann; and her cherished great nieces and nephew, Brooklyn, Preslee, Maverick and Mila; new great niece or nephew coming April 2022; numerous cousins; special friend Mel Ross and friends.

Lorelei’s greatest passion in life was spending time with her family. Her happiest moments were spent around the dinner table at her mom and dads. Lorelei had a one-of-a-kind personality and a laugh that no one will ever forget. She made an impact on all the lives she entered, taught many lessons of resilience, patience and humor, but most importantly to love with your whole heart.

Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of life for Lorelei on Sunday, November 14th, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the Beausejour Brokenhead Community Hall, 420 Veterans Lane, Beausejour, Manitoba.  Online livestream viewing available on the Sobering Website or through www.WEBEX.com on your pc, or via the CISCO WEBEX App on your mobile phone. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the STARS Air Ambulance.

At this time, all Covid/Public health protocols will need to be followed. Anyone that wishes to attend is required to show proof of vaccination and masks must be worn indoors.

The family wishes to thank the wonderful teams of, The Beausejour Hospital, Beausejour First Responders, STARS Air Ambulance, and the compassionate care given by the amazing Doctors and Nurses at the MICU at Health Science Center, in Winnipeg.

A special thank you to ACL for the care and support for Lorelei over the past 25+ years.
