It is with broken hearts we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend, Marilyn Hourie on Monday, October 24, 2022 at the Grace Hospital at the age of 67.
She was predeceased by her parents Agnes and Peter Fontaine, her brothers Patrick and Peter Jr., her sisters Beverly and Alma, her daughter Shirley and sister in-law Shirley.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Roy, her children Jerry (Monica), Michelle, Greg, Heidi, Amber, Elaine and Roy Jr. She will be missed by her grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as her two brothers Wesley (Karen) and Alex, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was born in Pine Falls and raised in Fort Alexander.
Marilyn loved her VLT’s, her smokes and coffee. She was happiest when surrounded by her family. She was always about the kids, she loved joking around and putting on family dinners. She always got the last laugh.
Wake service will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 26 at St. Alexander Roman Catholic Church in Fort Alexander. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 28 also at the church with viewing one hour prior to the service.
