Michael Myrchak

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Michael Myrchak on December 25, 2024 at East Gate Personal Care Home.

Michael was born October 20, 1939 in Lonesand, MB.

He is survived by his wife Rita, son Richard, step-son Lucien (Lise) Meixner, grandsons Joey and Jeffrey (Chantal), three brothers, two sisters, and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents, one sister and three brothers.

Mike enjoyed driving truck, which he started in 1966, with Nelson River Construction. He went on to start Myrchak Trucking as an owner operator in 1975 until his retirement in 2004.

Our heartfelt thanks to Dr. Van Rensberg and all the staff at East Gate Lodge for their loving care over the years.

As per his wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family gathering to take place at a later date.
