Muriel Green

Muriel Green passed away peacefully on Friday, April 7, 2017 at the age of 95 at Pine Falls Hospital.

Muriel will be lovingly remembered by her children Wayne (Margaret), Robert (Carol), Ruggles (Betty), Lorne (Erin) and Dorothy; grandchildren Christina (Jeff), Tim (Charlene), Brent (Christine), Nathen (Christine), Kim (Glenn), Garett (Theresa), Jason (Tracey), Katie (Eric), Jenny, Hillary (Matthew) and Stewart (Amanda); and 20 great grandchildren.  Muriel is also survived by niece Gail (Mel) Saunders and nephew John (Linda) and their families.

Muriel was predeceased by her parents Robert and Violet Skead, husband Edward Alexander Green and sisters Dorothy and Lillian.

Muriel had many interests and hobbies which included caring for nature, cooking, camping, woodworking, along with being a very talented artist.  Muriel’s greatest passion was caring for her family which created many precious memories for us all.

Thank you to the staff at Pine Falls Hospital, Pinawa Hospital, EMS and paramedic personnel and homecare workers for all your care and compassion.

There will be a service of interment held on Wednesday, April 19 at 1:00 p.m. at Victoria Beach Community Cemetery with a luncheon to follow in the Victoria Beach Sports Centre at 2:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Muriel’s memory to Salvation Army.
