Real Marcel Rene Avanthay

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved brother and uncle Réal, who passed away peacefully and unexpectedly, with family by his side, at the Pine Falls Hospital on February 17, 2025. 

Réal was predeceased by his parents Roger and Thérèse, and his younger sister Christiane. He will be lovingly remembered by his brothers and sisters René, Gilles, Noyale, Marie-Paule, Marie-Josephe and Roselyne. As well, he leaves numerous nieces and nephews of which he adored and was so proud of.

A special thank you to Michel, Dayle and Gilles (Gisele) who were able to be with Réal to the very end. We also thank all those who were present and helped him throughout his life.

As per Réal’s request, cremation has taken place and a service of remembrance will be held at a later date. Details to follow.

In lieu of flowers, enjoy an ice cold beer in uncle Réal’s honour.
