Remi Jerome (Chic) Haywood

December 17, 1948 to October 13, 2010

Chic passed away suddenly on Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at St. Boniface Hospital.

He leaves to mourn his wife Dorothy of 41 years, his children Cindy (Matthew), Chris (Melanie) and Mike (Melissa) and three grandchildren Taylor, Madyson and Ashley. He is also survived by four sisters Joan, Audrey (Stan), Linda and Donna (Denis), two brothers George (Lucielle) and Jonas (Penny); his godmother Elma Houssin also many nieces and nephews.

Chic was predeceased by his mother Zoe, father Jonas and two brothers in-law Adelard and Paul.

According to his wishes cremation has taken place and a small gathering for family and friends will be held on Saturday, October 23 from 2:00-5:00 p.m. at the Haywood Farm.
