Renate Ursula Stantic

Renate Ursula Stantic was born February 11, 1947, in Hanover, Germany to Hans and Wilma Uhlig. Renate passed away peacefully after a brief battle with cancer. 

She immigrated to Canada in 1969 following her eventual husband, Paul (Pajo) Stantic from Germany in pursuit of the Canadian dream. 

She raised three sons, Peter, Andreas and Marco on a small farm near Beausejour, Manitoba. 

Renate was a prayer warrior and had a deep faith in Christ. Renate had a strong love of books and writing. She wrote beautiful, meaningful cards and letters as a constant encouragement to her friends and family. 

She deeply loved her sons and grandchildren, Luke, Joseph and Makena. 

Renate will be missed by everyone who had a chance to know her kind and loving spirit.
