Rita was born in Pine Falls and was raised in Lac du Bonnet. Mom always had a smile on her face and will be remembered for her generosity and willingness to help anybody. She loved her family and adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mom loved to garden, knit, was known for her jams, canning, her homemade mitts, scarves and toques all of which she enjoyed selling at local farmers markets. She also enjoyed playing darts with her husband in Lac du Bonnet and St. Georges. Mom was a very community minded person and was also involved with her church.

A special thank you to the doctors and staff at The Pinawa Hospital, and CancerCare Manitoba for all the care and compassion they showed mom.
