It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother, Robert Stubel, who passed away on May 27, 2024 at East Gate Lodge at the age of 90.

He is predeceased by his wife, Leona and his sons, Brian and Randy and sister-in-law Dorothy.

He will be lovingly remembered by his children Wayne (Rosemarie), David (Jody) and Rhea (Jason).  As well he leaves his grandchildren, Nicole (Stephen), Lisa (Anthony), Kevin (Kelsey), Sam, Kalina, Jordan, Joshua (Teagan) and Carter.  He is also survived by his great-grandchildren Emily, Nora, Carson, Adam, Leo, Alexandra and Andrew; his brother William; sister Erika and sister-in-law Alma (Ron), as well as many nieces and nephews.

Dad loved and cherished his wife, Leona and his whole family.  Dad made the best of what he had.  He was the most unselfish man we knew, always giving to his family and others.  He was an inspiration to us all and a very good teacher.  It gives us great comfort to know he has joined Mom, Randy and Brian in Heaven.

Many thanks to all the staff at East Gate Lodge, Shamrock Unit, for all the care and compassion they showed towards our Dad.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 31, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Thalberg with viewing one hour prior.

In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, Box 57, Group 327,
