Ruth Wanda Krebs (Nee Mundt)

Peacefully on Friday, December 6, 2019, at her farm, Ruth left us to be with her Lord.

She was predeceased by her daughter Georgina, her parents, Ed and Augustina, brother Ted (Irene), sisters, Helen (Roy) and Edith (Krahn), sisters-in-law, Violet, Olga, Ruth, Margaret, Wanda and Doreen, and brother-in-law Ron.

She is survived by her husband George of 68 years, brothers, Edwin (Nancy) and Robert, brother-in-law Gordon (Alice) and many nieces and nephews.

She worked for Manitoba Telephones for 43 years.  After retiring, she volunteered for many years with the Pioneer Club.  Her main care in life was loving and doing things for her husband and daughter.

She loved living on the farm enjoying her garden.  We’d always get veggies in the fall from her abundant crop of vegetables.  Her pastime was filled with crocheting, knitting and cooking delicious German food.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 13 at 1:00 p.m. at Sobering Funeral Chapel, 1035 Park Avenue E., Beausejour with interment to follow in the Beausejour Cemetery.
