It is with broken hearts that we announce Ryan’s passing after a brief battle with cancer. Ryan passed peacefully at (31) in his home in Beausejour, MB with his wife and family by his side.
Left to mourn his passing are his wife Irene; his children Ryleigh and Nathaniel; and stepchildren Azura, Kaleb and Rosalin. He is survived by his parents Cheryl (Fred) and Bill (Vida); sisters Kimberly (Joe) and Ashley (Kevin); niece & goddaughter Gianna; grandparents Oliver & Loretta and Pauline.
He also leaves to mourn extended family and friends. Ryan is predeceased by his grandfather Arvid, Uncle Miles and Auntie Margaret.
Ryan was born and raised in Winnipeg. He was a mild-mannered and thoughtful young man, who will be remembered for his quick-witted personality and inventive sense of humour. He had a creative mind and was very artistic. He could find humour in any situation and made people feel at ease just by being in his presence. Many friends and family agree he may have missed his calling as a comedian/actor.
He was a dedicated father first and foremost who treasured and embraced every moment spent with his children. Family can all agree he was a very loving and playful father. Ryan was truly a rare combination of someone who loved life and had a firm understanding of what was important to him, the simplicity of living life to the fullest with those you loved.
Ryan worked as a Tire Technician and people often commented what a hard worker he was. He loved his job and was able to achieve his career goals in his short time here.
He enjoyed playing hockey in his spare time, a hobby he enjoyed since he was a young boy. Ryan also enjoyed reading, being outdoors in nature, swimming, going on driving adventures and above all else spending time with his family. On weekends you would often find him looking for reasons to go out for dinner. Ryan loved food and would never dream of saying no to food, especially if the food in question was pizza!
Ryan was truly one of a kind and will be missed by many. His memories will live on in our hearts.
Due to COVID-19, a private family interment will take place in Roblin, MB.
