Theresa Marie Alberta Pelland

Peacefully, Therese (Terri) went to be with God and her family on the morning of October 29, 2024.

Therese is survived by her two children: John Zulak of Burnaby BC, Quincy Zulak of North Vancouver and her four grandchildren Alex, Tasha, Makayla and Linden

She is also survived by her siblings Lucille (Denis), Henri (Irene), Armand (Helen), Maurice (Dolores), Aline (Gilbert) and many nieces and nephews.

Therese was predeceased by her siblings Bertrand, Paul, Jacqueline and her parents Albert & Georgianna Pelland.

Therese (or Terri as she was commonly known) was a hairdresser by trade, and worked various other jobs in her life. She was a voracious reader, and published author, musician and singer, card player, walker, nature lover and had a fondness and connection with aboriginal culture and spiritual practice. She had a delightful and sharp sense of humour and was there for you when you needed help or just a shoulder to lean on. Above all that, she was a loyal and loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, auntie and friend. She will be greatly missed and remembered by family and friends.

We would like to thank Ironwood Gardens staff and residents for their loving friendship and care for Therese.

Also thank you to Dr. Bruneau and the Nursing Staff at Pinawa Hospital.

An interment, family only, will be held in Pine Falls cemetery in late spring 2025.
