Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, June 7 at 1:00 p.m. at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main Street, Winnipeg, MB.  Private family interment will follow at St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Cemetery, Cooks Creek, MB.

He leaves to mourn his passing his father Paul Edward Nowicki; his brother Dale O’Neil; sisters: Kimberly Kit, Wanda Leis, and Arlene Nowicki; his extended family: Larry, Stuart, Andrew, Johnny, and Jeff; his girlfriend Elma Dillena and her family; nephews Darryl Kit and Kevin Leis;  nieces Amanda Leis and Richelle Nowicki; as well as numerous aunts, uncles cousins, friends and co-workers who loved him.

Wayne was predeceased by his mother Jeanne Nowicki (nee Herie) on July 21, 2013; and his little sister Vanessa Nowicki on August 19, 2013.

He had recently retired from his job as Manager of Housekeeping Services with the Health Science Centre, with 30 plus years of dedicated service where his father Paul worked and retired from as well.  He formed many close ties and friendships with his many co-workers and staff, over those years.

His love and respect for nature and animals were evident in the activities he loved and shared with his father, family, friends, and cousins; hunting, fishing, camping and travel.  Wayne had two dogs he loved, and with whom he shared his time and adventures.  Lucky and Boomer were his loyal and faithful companions.
