Yvonne Marie Dube (nee Coss)

Surrounded by her loving family Yvonne left this world to be with her Lord in the early morning of Aug 07, 2024

She will be dearly missed by her beloved husband John with whom on August 16th they would have celebrated 66 years of marriage. 

Also missing her will be her children; Rene (Bev), Omer (Teresa), Linda (Lionel), Harvey (Salvina), Norman (Suzie) and Lance (Melanie), 20 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

She was predeceased by her parents Clement and Aurore Coss (Gingrass), her brothers Eugene and Leon and sisters Alice and Rita. She is survived by her brothers Tess and Norman and sister Lillian.

Yvonne (Mom) was born in Pine Falls and resided most of her early years in Chevrefils District. She married the love of her life John on August 16, 1958, and they lived for many years in Powerview, then Chevrefils District and most recently St Georges. Yvonne spent the last two years in the Pine Falls Hospital and Sunnywood Manor PCH where she was wonderfully cared for. The family wishes to express their gratitude and thanks to all the staff (too many to mention) for the loving and excellent care she received, especially in her final days.

Family was everything to Yvonne and she showed her love in many ways. She was the first to lend a hand to those in need, was famous for her wonderful cooking and provided countless meals for families in their greatest times of loss. 

She also had a great love of sports, especially baseball, she played for many years with her Beaverette Team and followed her children through countless hockey and baseball adventures, always a cooler full of food for all by her side. 

Her presence will be sorely missed but her example of selfless love and steadfast faith will never be forgotten.

A Service of Remembrance will be held at a later date.
